What is a Thai massage?

In traditional Thai massage, the ten main energy lines are treated with a pressure point massage and gentle use of body weight. Stretching exercises are also part of it. This stimulates the blood circulation. Energy blockages are released in order to prevent diseases. Elements from acupressure, passive yoga, meditation and energy work are coming together - it leads to a general relaxation.

Four years ago I traveled through Asia to practice martial arts (Thai boxing) intensively. We received massages between the training sessions, they were so good that I wanted to learn them myself. A first course in Chiang Mai led to countless more.

I basically massage the entire body and do not use any oils. The way your body reacts gives me indicators how to respond to you, notice where there are blockages and work them out gently. It is important to me that the massage leads to relaxation and has a healing effect.
